O.J. Simpson is back in Buffalo to watch the Bills against Miami

Buffalo Bills legend O.J. Simpson took to Twitter to let fans know he’s at Highmark Stadium to watch the Week 8 showdown against Miami. 

Few people in Buffalo have forgotten about the sensational career running back O.J. Simpson had with the Bills. Simpson spent nine amazing seasons in town before closing out his playing says with two years in San Francisco.

Well, Simpson hasn’t forgotten about his former team, as he’s still got plenty of love for the Bills. Simpson reminded folks of that on Twitter, as he posted a video of him at the stadium for Sunday’s tilt with the Miami Dolphins.

Simpson posted that video for his fans, as he also went on to relive some of his old glory days. Simpson was a monster running the ball for Buffalo back in the 70s, as he was a five-time First-Team All-Pro selection.

Of course, there was the infamous mid-’90s double-murder trial with Simpson, in which he was found innocent to the shock of many. In the following years, Simpson was jailed for robbery among other charges, but was released in 2017 after serving just shy of nine years.

Simpson’s best campaign came back in 1973, with him rushing for 2,003 yards and 12 touchdowns. In his nine years with Buffalo, Simpson rushed for 10,183 yards and 57 scores. He added 1,924 receiving yards and 14 more touchdowns.

After he hung up his cleats, Simpson was a no-brainer selection to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985. Now, Simpson is enjoying his retired life and going back to the city where his NFL days got started.

Buffalo is in the middle of a fantastic season, as they’re 4-2 ahead of the showdown with Miami. They’re looking like a serious threat to win the AFC and potentially go on to play in the Super Bowl. Simpson will be fired up if that team is able to get that job done.
