Packers: David Bakhtiari has hilarious take on Kyler Murray ‘romance’

Green Bay Packers offensive tackle David Bakhtiari shared his thoughts on the Kyler Murray-Arizona Cardinals’ social media activity.

In the midst of all of the news in the NFL in the lead up to Super Bowl LVI was the mystery surrounding Kyler Murray’s Instagram activity. And by that, we mean Murray scrubbing all mentions of the Arizona Cardinals from his profile and deleting all but two photos. On Friday, Feb. 11, the Cardinals took a page out of Murray’s book, deleting all but two photos, but those images feature the quarterback.

Green Bay Packers left tackle David Bakhtiari had some fun with this on Twitter, calling the Murray-Cardinals social media activity “2022 romance.”

Murray’s changes to his Instagram profile had many wondering if this meant he wanted off of the Cardinals. Is that the case? Who knows. But the Cardinals were having some fun with it.

The Cardinals held a 9-2 record entering their Week 12 bye and went 2-4 in their return. That caused them to lose the NFC West to the Los Angeles Rams and were subsequently blown out by them in the Wild Card Round.

Murray is now done with the third season of his NFL career, and is due for a new contract as early as the 2023 league year. That is if the Cardinals opt against picking up his fifth-year option.

As for Bakhtiari’s team, the Packers are waiting to see what is going on with their quarterback, Aaron Rodgers. The team held the best record in the entire NFL this season and clinched home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Their stint did not last long, as they lost 13-10 to the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round.

Rodgers said after the game and again at the NFL Honors that he will decide upon his playing status in the near future. Whether that is remaining with the Packers, playing elsewhere or retiring altogether.

So, the best we can tell you is to keep an eye on updates regarding both Murray and Rodgers this offseason.
