Every team has now played at least nine games, meaning NFL 2022 is past its halfway point. And now only two clubs have managed to walk away with just a single loss 10 weeks into the league’s 103rd campaign.

Houston Texans 1-7-1
Last week: L, 24-16 at NYG

Lovie Smith’s squad had more than a week to prepare for its clash with the much-improved Giants. The Texans headed north to MetLife Stadium looking to end a three-game losing streak.
Rookie running back Dameon Pierce continued to impress and finished with 94 yards on the ground. But he also had a crucial fumble, one of the club’s two turnovers. Davis Mills threw for 319 yards and one score. But he was picked off once and sacked four times.

Las Vegas Raiders 2-7
Last week: L, 25-20 vs IND
Last rank: 29th
A year ago, the Silver and Black got hot down the stretch, finished 10-7 and claimed a wild card berth. Following the team’s 25-20 home loss to the Colts, the Raiders have already lost as many games as they did a season ago.
The porous Vegas defense gave up 415 total yards: 207 on the ground and 208 through the air. Josh McDaniels’ club was limited to 77 yards on the ground. And the Raiders’ dismal pass rush managed just one sack of Matt Ryan.

Jacksonville Jaguars 3-7
Last week: L, 27-17 at KC
Last rank: 25th
Doug Pederson’s club was looking to make it two wins in a row as they looked to surprise the Chiefs one week after besting the Raiders. But the Jaguars were down 20-0 late in the fourth quarter and never got any closer than 10 points.
Trevor Lawrence threw for 259 yards and a pair of scores but was also sacked five times. Jacksonville’s ground game was limited to 75 yards while Pederson’s shaky defensive unit was torched for 486 total yards.

Los Angeles Rams 3-6

Last rank: 21st
With Matthew Stafford sidelined, John Wolford got the start at home against the Cardinals. The Rams looked to sweep this rivalry for the fifth time in seven years but the club’s offensive issues this season continued.
Sean McVay’s club got on the scoreboard first with a field goal but Los Angeles trailed 17-3 at halftime. Wolford threw for 212 yards and one TD (1 interception) but was sacked three times and committed both of the team’s turnovers.
