You’ve heard Paul Allen and his manic radio calls of Vikings games over the years. Seeing him while he does it is a whole other experience.

Vikings fans love Allen because he’s inherently one of them. He screams like them. He shouts like them. He loses his mind like them.

During Sunday’s epic comeback against the Bills, while the microphone captured his emotion calling the age, cameras also revealed the physicality of that emotion. And it only makes those moments even more exciting.

That game was truly as wild as it looked watching Allen reacting to it.

The Vikings found themselves trailing by two touchdowns at halftime. The Bills increased their advantage with a field goal with two minutes left in the third quarter, 27-10. It truly looked like Minnesota would suffer their second loss of the season in humbling fashion.

Then Dalvin Cook gave his team new life with an 81-yard scoring romp less than a minute after said field goal. In the fourth quarter, C.J. Hamm cut into the deficit further with a three-yard run.

There were two minutes left when Justin Jefferson pulled off the catch of the century to convert a fourth-and-18 to keep the Vikings alive while trailing just four points.

However, Minnesota was stopped short at the goal line on fourth down with under a minute to play. That’s when the miracle happened.

Beginning their possession at the edge of their own endzone, the Bills tried a quarterback sneak to give them a little more room to work. It backfired when Josh Allen fumbled the snap and Eric Kendrick recovered the ball for a touchdown.

It didn’t even end then. Allen quickly put his team in field goal range to force overtime at 30-30.

Ultimately, the Vikings got the better of the overtime period. Kirk Cousins set up a go-ahead field goal while Patrick Peterson sealed the deal with an interception.
