With the Broncos falling to a disastrous 3-10 on the season in their close loss to the AFC West nemesis Kansas City Chiefs, Denver has once again been eliminated from the postseason. If the usually flightless Jets take off, they could be back in the AFC playoffs for the first time since 2010. At 7-6, Gang Green is not likely to win the AFC East crown, but are still very much alive for one of three wild card berths. Even if they do not make it in this season, there is so much positive momentum surrounding this franchise. As for the Broncos, at least they allowed for Russ to cook.

When it comes to the 2022 Broncos, we have been presented problems and offered no solutions. They may have new wealthy owners in the Walton Family taking over, but who knows if they actually know a thing about football or not? Roger Goodell’s name is not that hard to pronounce. More importantly, the front office made an abominable hire when it came to Nathaniel Hackett.
We are watching two sinking ships passing in the night. The only difference is the Jets might be able to get to port to fix that dang hole in their vessel, whereas the Broncos firmly believe that land is somewhere out there in the blue. It is absolutely shocking that we are living in a world where the Colorado Buffaloes have infinitely more juice in-state than Denver’s beloved Broncos.
Though one would expect for Deion Sanders to turn around the Buffs in a hurry, it is hard to see things getting better in the Mile High City. Firing Hackett is not going to cure what ails them. The drafting has been suspect for years now. The absolute worst part in all this is their top-five pick is going to the Seattle Seahawks because they traded for what looks to be a lemon in Mr. Unlimited.
