The losing effort from Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins in less-than-ideal conditions was impressive even if it ended in disappointment. The QB had two touchdowns and 234 yards while Raheem Mostert racked up 136 yards on 17 carries and Jaylen Waddle led the way with 114 yards and a touchdown receiving.

The game was tightly contested in the first half. Jason Sanders kicked two field goals while Salvon Ahmed had an 11-yard scoring rush. However, the Bills converted their red zone trips into touchdowns. Allen threw three of them in the first half, including a four-yard pass to James Cook as time expired in the half to give Buffalo a 21-13 lead at the break.
Things swung in Miami’s favor in the third quarter. While the Bills offense stalled, Tagovailoa dropped in a 67-yard touchdown pass to Jaylen Waddle early in the second half. The quarterback hit Tyreek Hill for a 20-yard score to give Miami a 26-21 lead.
The fourth quarter featured another Sanders field goal as the Dolphins took an eight-point lead, but the Bills came to life after a long Allen run, capping their drive with a five-yard touchdown to Dawson Knox and an acrobatic two-point conversion by the quarterback to tie the game at 29.
After the defense forced a punt, Allen and company got the ball back with six minutes remaining and the snow coming down heavily. They proceeded to drive down the field until the final ticks of the clock arrived.
