Though only one team (Chargers) in this one is still mathematically in contention for a playoff berth, this could still be fun. The Indianapolis Colts fired Frank Reich partway through the year and hired longtime former Colts center Jeff Saturday at head coach. That hire has been, in a word, fun!
Saturday was viewed as a massive wildcard hire as interim head coach but has led this team relatively well against interim coach standards. Some speed bumps have come up, to be sure, but it hasn’t been a disaster as some people prophesized before he came on board.
The Chargers, meanwhile, will virtually lock up a playoff spot with a win on Monday night.
Unfortunately, no Manningcast on ESPN2 this week, which is a shame considering Peyton Manning played most of his career taking snaps from Saturday with the Colts. The game will be simulcast on ABC, though for those of you looking for local options to watch.

The Colts have not won on Monday Night Football in nearly three years. They last won on January 5, 2019 (which was on the tail-end of the 2021 season), beating the Texans 21-7. While that game was played under the MNF banner, it was not a traditional game in the sense that it was a Wild Card, postseason game.
The last regular season game the Colts won on MNF was in 2016, 41-10 against the New York Jets.
